POSITION DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation and finalization of financial statements (monthly, annual), for group reporting, statutory audit, and tax audit
  • Responsible for all financial transactions of Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable, Vendor payments, Invoicing, Fixed assets management, Treasury, ensuring documentation of the standard operating procedures and responsibility matrix.
  • Preparation and custodian of UTCIPL corporate policies related to Finance and T&E, authority matrix, SOD compliance.
  • Functional guidance to Business units and functions and support Business unit on new business models, expansion plans, new service verticals
  • Lead SAP Implementation for FICO and other automation/system initiatives
  • Establishing framework of Internal controls over financial reports, and coordinating with US teams on Risk and control assessment and internal audit of the local entity
  • Lead a young and motivated team in a highly networked organization with multiple stakeholders in India and Pratt and Whitney USA/Canada.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Chartered Accountant / M.B.A Finance with 14 years+ experience
  • Proficient in Accounting, Local Companies Act, SOX compliance and Tax
  • Sound knowledge of corporate accounting, Finance and FP&A
  • Sound understanding of Lean and operational excellence tools.
