Description
This position is for PACC Offshore Services Holdings (POSH), a company under Kuok (Singapore) Limited.**
Responsibilities:
- Support subsea project team with marine/vessel related matters for the entire project lifecycle from bidding to completion stage, to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
- Focal point of contact between the assigned vessels and project manager. Coordinate vessel movement in conjunction with subsea project team.
- Coordinate with 8point mooring operations of barge including towing/Anchor handling operations.
- Responsible for preparing/attending vessels for on/off hires, OVID, IMCA, MWS, suitability surveys, client inspections etc and maintain all records of observation close outs.
- Responsible for operational evaluation of tender specification and requirements. Coordinate the preparation of vessel for new charters.
- Responsible for formulation and updating marine operation procedures/records for vessels including DP operations, divisional ISO management etc.
- Attend HAZID identification/Safety meetings with Charterers.
- Responsible for compliance with Vessel/project HSE requirement and take an active part in Incident / Accident investigation in co
- Take lead on Safety case development where required, in collaboration with HSE
- Proper interface and coordination with crewing, technical, purchasing and HSE departments to ensure vessel is always in compliance with statutory and regulatory internal/external stakeholder requirements.
- Monitor assigned Opex and Capex budget for the marine operations.
- Oversee all vessel related modifications, bollard pull, DP annuals/FMEA trials in collaboration with technical team.
- Keep track and ensure vessel availability and readiness when on standby as per project team's requirement.
- Actively take part in training, development and evaluation of vessel crew including DPO assessment.
- Monitor weather reports (Hurricane/Typhoon) around operational area and during passage.
- Review passage plan and carry out voyage optimisation related to weather and fuel.
Requirements:
- Class 1 or 2 COC (deck) for Foreign going vessel
- DP licence cert holder
- 2 years Sea going experience as Master or CO on offshore DP vessels
- Experienced working as DPO on offshore vessels
- Subsea operation knowledge/experience is an advantage
- Prior shore experience is an advantage
