We are a healthcare provider called Revive Hospitals in Indiranagar Banglore, seeking an OT technician to join our team.

An OT Technician/Nurse, also known as a surgical technologist or operating room nurse, is responsible for providing technical and clinical support in the operating room.

The primary function of the OT technician/nurse is to assist the surgeon during surgery and to ensure that the operating room is safe and sterile.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in preparing the operating room for surgery, including setting up equipment, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring a sterile environment
Ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available for the surgeon and surgical team
Assisting the surgeon during surgery by passing instruments, holding retractors, and maintaining a clear view of the surgical site
Monitoring patients during surgery, including vital signs, blood loss, and fluid intake
Administering medications and intravenous fluids as directed by the surgeon or anesthesiologist
Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records of surgical procedures
Cleaning and restocking the operating room after surgery
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses, to ensure optimal patient care
Following safety protocols and infection control procedures to minimize the risk of infection or injury to patients and staff.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a certified surgical technologist or nursing program
Current certification as a surgical technologist or registered nurse
Knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sterile environment

Working Conditions:
OT Operation Theater Technicians/Nurses work in hospitals, surgical centers, and other healthcare facilities. They may work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. They may be required to stand for long periods and lift heavy equipment or patients. They must also follow strict safety protocols and infection control procedures to minimize the risk of injury or infection.
