Specialist
- 3+ years of experience in the relevant / Design & Build Industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional procurement strategies that are innovative, costeffective, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Review contract specifications on behalf of the company, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Ensure suppliers deliver goods or services in accordance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Identify new vendors and generate competition to optimize the supplier base.
- Evaluate and compare vendors based on performance, pricing, quality, and other relevant criteria.
- Follow up on procurement activities for various projects, tracking all purchase orders raised and ensuring rigorous delivery followups.
- Maintain projectwise procurement records and documentation for reference and auditing purposes.
- Track dispatch and followup for payments, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and file management.
- Develop and nurture vendor relationships, resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as projects and finance, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of procurement activities.
- Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best offers, terms, and conditions for the company.
- Coordinate with suppliers, technical teams, account sections, and site teams to ensure efficient work execution.
- Focus on lowering lead time, ensuring ontime delivery, and assuring the quality of transport services and vendor performance.
- Stay updated on changing industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Requirements:
- Proven 2+ years of experience in procurement within the Interior industry.
- Knowledge of technical specifications and commercials of interior materials & MEP items.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, Tendering, Contracts, and vendor management.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficient in budgeting and cost control.
- Ability to evaluate supplier performance and manage inventory.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance.
- Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Detailoriented and able to work in a fastpaced environment.
