Qualification:

Any Graduate, GNM or BSc. Nursing with administrative or management

experience will be preferred

Clinical experience in healthcare will be an added advantage

Minimum 5 years of experience in Hospital/clinic or direct patient care in a

Supervisory role.


Objective of the Role:

These are responsible for managing, supervising and guiding the caregiver staff for

patient care, managing services, performing clinical assessment for new service

requests and reassessment for existing patients, providing administrative support

and regular monitoring of patient care services for bedside care


Roles and Responsibility:

R.1 (Lead Management) Discuss the service requests (leads) with the CEC, BCG

Lead and customer to provide service related information and staff availability

status.2 (Lead Management) Coordinate and manage service cancellations, reschedules

or staff reassigning as per the customer request or staff availability

R.3 (OS Management) Regular timely staff updates on OS, creating BCG contracts

and daily check on work plans on OS to ensure proper service delivery and

effective staff utilization

R.4(Clinical assessment and Reassessment) Perform a thorough clinical evaluation

and initial assessment for all the new BCG patients and prepare bedside care plan

which needs to be explained and communicated to the treating caregiver and

patient's family

R.5 (Clinical assessment and Reassessment) Perform thorough clinical re-evaluation

and reassessment for all existing bedside care patients as per the protocol to

monitor and ensure effective patient care and quality of services

R.6 (Service Delivery) Ensure timely, accurate and good quality of service delivery

as per SOP s by all staff and ensure services are provided as per the customer

request if within Bedside care scope of services

R.7(Regular Monitoring ) Participate in interviewing and recruitment of new

caregiver staff with appropriate evaluation and selection criteria.

R.8(Regular Monitoring) Provide leadership, guidance and support for bedside

caregiver staff.

R.9(Service Delivery) Ensure strict adherence to standard documentation

requirement for BCG assessment and services. Explaining the needs for timely

documentation to customers and ensure timely sign off on the BCG documents by

the customer / family member and staff.

R.10( Service Delivery) Ensure all BCG staff deployments happen in the presence of

Supervisors with proper guidance and support.

R.11(Customer Satisfaction) Ensure good customer satisfaction from all customers

and address any escalations or complaints from customer/patient and provide

immediate resolution after discussing with relevant stakeholders

R.12 (Payment collection) Monitor payment collection for all Bedside care services

on a monthly basis to ensure timely payment by customers, timely and accurate

billing and receipt generation and CC team

R.13 (Departmental Induction) Orientation of new staff caregiver on Nightingales

protocols for Bedside care and departmental Induction to orient them regarding

the Bedside care processes and workflow

R.14(Functional Training) Conduct periodic monthly functional training for all

Bedside care staff and evaluate the training effectiveness based on their

performance post training. Train the caregiver on disease base activities

R.15 (Incident Reporting) Encourage and ensure proactive and timely reporting of

all clinical and non clinical incidents by the staff and coordinate with relevant

stakeholders to address the issues and implement CAPA as per the

recommendation

R.16(Infection prevention and control) Plan, implement, manage and evaluate

infection prevention and control activities by ensuring proper adherence by all

staff to standard infection control practices process, proper usage of PPE for

patient services

R.17 (Quality assurance and Documentation) Oversee quality assurance activities

and compliance to SOP s during all service delivery by staff. Documentation should

be updated on time and accurately. For each BCG service relevant BCG documents

should be filled and duly signed by the supervisor and filed in the branch the same

day or within 24hrs. Data collation, validation and presentation for monthly

reviews

R.18 (Regular Monitoring )Monitor and oversee the daily attendance, leave ,

replacement for caregiver in coordination with Back-end coordinator.

R.19(Regular Monitoring)Ensure the uniform and ID distribution to the caregiver

and strict adherence to grooming and uniform policy by all BCG staff

R.20 (Regular Monitoring)Coordinate with the Hostel warden regarding the

requirement and ensure safe stay for caregiver staff in the hostel.

R.21 (Recruitment support) As per requirement for services Supervisors conduct

the interviews and mark the interview rating sheet given to the Lead or HR

R.22 Ensure regular monitoring, approvals and coordination for all out station

service requests and ensure timely int
