The Business Analyst provides business analysis and system design services to functional departments.

This position will work closely with client business units to gain in-depth understanding of each unit's processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates.

This role will be key to understanding and automating unit business processes to address business challenges.

  • The Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing and documenting assigned business processes from endtoend to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and develop requirements for business system implementation. The BA will create process flow and system flow diagrams and documentation as well as detailed system requirements documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead meetings and facilitate determining of departmental business processes and the resulting systems requirements.
  • Document business and systems processes in flow diagrams.
  • Create clear, detailed documents of systems requirements including workflow and functionality requirements, data requirements, data integrity requirements, and reporting requirements.
  • Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements or reengineering and recommending elimination; and integrating new systems and processes with existing ones.
  • Confer with other Corporate Systems and IT personnel to determine technical solutions for systems issues.
  • Plan and coordinate team activities to implement technical solutions.
  • Perform testing of configured systems and solutions
  • Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs.
  • Participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and ontime delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer relationships
  • Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements as well as data migrations and system integrations between different systems.

Education And/Or Experience

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent and 2+ years of direct experience. Experience using enterprisewide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies. Experience with Agile delivery methods is desired. Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, testing (integration, user, and performance), implementation, and support. A demonstrable track record of successful CRM, ERP, Support systems design, planning and implementation.
  • Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling daytoday operational requests from the business
  • Knowledge and experience with Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud and Salesforce Communities a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience and skill in system requirements and business process documentation
  • Experience in coordinating and planning systems work
  • Experience in testing solutions
  • Demonstrated competency in developing effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems. Ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results.
  • Must possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the ability to work independently.
  • Collaborative with excellent people management skills.
  • Possess strong negotiation and leadership skills needed to gain commitments and initiate action to remediate risks and vulnerabilities from leadership of other teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to articulate and present information to all levels of management and staff.
