As part of Voice Surveillance Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) team, you'll help build a meaningful engineering discipline, combining software and systems to develop creative engineering solutions to operations problems.

Much of our support and software development focuses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure, and reducing work through automation.


Your role also include root cause analysis of incidents and pro-active prevention of recurrence through the creative design and development of technical solutions & process improvements.

You will partner with Infrastructure, Operations and vendor teams to identify and implement automation opportunities to drive down toil, reduce technical debt and improve system stability.

**Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, information Technology, or equivalent technical field
  • Experience of automating tasks and writing tools in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Powershell, Bash Scripting
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL
  • Knowledge of web hosting technologies like apache / tomcat or other equivalent web/app servers with strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Handson experience in Java, IntelliJ, GIT, BitBucket, Jenkins/Jules, AIM and delivery (CI/CD), DevOps, Web API and Microservices.
  • Good working knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, AppDynamics)
  • Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse workgroups.
  • Strong desire to learn new technology.
  • Ability to work independently as a selfstarter, and within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast dynamic environment with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The ability to work oncall nights/weekends as needed.

Preferred/Desired Skills

  • Banking Experience is preferred
  • Understanding of Voice Surveillance preferably with exposure to NICE Actimize is a plus
  • Customer centric preferable from technical support roles and/or professional services
