    Job Title: Senior Ab Initio Administrator

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ab Initio Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in handling and leading Ab Initio administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and migration processes. As a Senior Ab Initio Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the full Ab Initio product suite, including Cooperating system, Data Catalog, Metadata Hub, Query it, Express it, Control Centre, and other related components.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Ab Initio software products across various environments.
    2. Lead migration processes ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations.
    3. Administer and maintain Ab Initio infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
    4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions using Ab Initio tools.
    5. Provide expertise and guidance on automation processes, leveraging Ab Initio and DevOps tools for efficient and scalable operations.
    6. Act as a subject matter expert for Ab Initio administration, providing mentorship and training to junior team members.
    7. Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and performance tuning of Ab Initio environments.
    8. Stay updated with the latest Ab Initio releases, features, and industry trends to continuously improve systems and processes.
    9. Support integration efforts with other systems and platforms, including cloud environments such as Kubernetes.
    10. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Ab Initio infrastructure and applications.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in Ab Initio administration, with hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance.
    3. Proficiency in administering the full Ab Initio product suite, including Data Catalog, Metadata Hub, Query it, Express it, and Control Centre.
    4. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Git, etc.
    5. Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for process automation and orchestration.
    6. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with Ab Initio deployment using Kubernetes is a plus.
    7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    9. Certifications in Ab Initio administration and/or relevant cloud platforms are desirable but not required.
    10. Proven track record of successfully leading and executing Ab Initio administration projects from inception to completion.
