Job Summary:
As a GPS Tracking Specialist for Trucks, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the GPS tracking systems installed in our fleet of trucks.
Your primary objective is to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our trucks by tracking their real-time locations, optimizing routes, and providing valuable data and insights to improve overall fleet management.
Key Responsibilities:

GPS System Monitoring:
- Monitor the realtime GPS tracking system to track the locations of trucks.
- Ensure accurate and uptodate information on the whereabouts of all trucks.
- Identify and address any technical issues with GPS devices.
Route Optimization:
- Analyze GPS data to optimize truck routes for efficiency and cost savings.
- Recommend route adjustments to reduce travel time and fuel consumption.
Safety Compliance:
- Monitor driver behavior and adherence to safety regulations through GPS data.
- Alert management to any safety violations or risky driving behaviors.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on truck locations, routes, and performance.
- Analyze GPS data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and costsaving opportunities.
Communication:
- Maintain clear communication with truck drivers to provide route instructions and updates.
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to ensure efficient scheduling and coordination.
Maintenance and Upkeep:
- Ensure the proper functioning of GPS tracking devices.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and updates to the tracking system.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of truck locations, routes, and related data.
- Document any incidents or issues related to GPS tracking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in GPS tracking, fleet management, or related roles.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in using GPS tracking software and related technologies.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Familiarity with trucking industry software and systems is a plus.
Salary:
₹8, ₹42,033.68 per month
