    Purpose of thejob

    The Senior iOS Developer at Collinsons TravelExperience Division will be at the forefront of bringing ourroadmap to life focusing on delivering globally appealingcustomercentric solutions. Acknowledging the importance of regionalnuances the chosen candidate will guarantee that our digitalofferings strike a chord at both the universal and localisedlevels. This role is pivotal in architecting and developing iOSapplications that offer a smooth userfriendly travel experience forour global clientele.

    KeyResponsibilities

    • Design and buildadvanced applications for the iOSplatform.
    • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to define design and ship newfeatures.
    • Maintain andimprove existing codebase focusing on continuous integration anddeploymentstrategies.
    • Work on bugfixing and improving applicationperformance.
    • Ensure thebest possible performance quality and responsiveness of theapplication.
    • Integratewith thirdparty libraries and APIs ensuring seamlessfunctionality.
    • Continuouslydiscover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximizedevelopmentefficiency.
    • Coordinatewith the design team to ensure UI/UX best practices arefollowed.
    • Address anysecurity vulnerabilities and work to ensure a secure appenvironment.
    • Stay updatedwith the latest mobile trends architectures and emergingtechnologies.

    Knowledge skills andexperience required

    • 26 years of strongdesign/development experience overall with 2 years of mobiledevelopment experience
    • Youhave handson experience building mobile applications using Swiftand solid understanding of iOS app design principles patterns andbest practices.
    • You careabout user interaction usability and of course making the interfacebeautiful.
    • Good knowledgeof architectural design patterns such as MVVM and MVP and provenexperience ensuring modularized and scalable apparchitecture.
    • You haveexperience with Cocoapods dependency management in iOSapps.
    • You strive for cleancode and know how to write flexible tests that wont break and haveexperience with different test strategies such as unit snapshotetc.
    • Good knowledge ofdesign patterns mostly used in mobile development (dependencyinjection observersetc.)
    • You love coding andtake the time to reflect on all aspects of your implementation beit the frameworks languages orprocesses.
    • Ability to takeownership and drive the development of exciting and impactful newfeatures and products.
    • Agenuine passion for writing wellstructured readable andmaintainable code
    • Youthrive in a team where you can learn and try new tech collaborateon technical challenges and grow as ateam.
