As a Quality Control Director, you are an excellent communicator who is able to work closely with Producers, Design Supervisors, Production Designers, Studio Artists and Technical artists to ensure assets are successfully delivered without errors.

Mitigating risks and managing QC can be challenging, but your organizational and interpersonal skills are up to the test.

You have experience supporting and leading other Quality Control specialists through every stage of a project. You're a team player who can work together with other disciplines to deliver the best possible digital solutions.

This is an exciting role and would entail you to

Monitor production compliance to provided standards and guidelines
Manage QC requirements and risk analysis by enforcing and improving the workflow
Organize, track, and ensure quality of final files before delivery to trafficking team or clients
Execute planning, scoping and estimation of QC efforts
Identify QC requirements for new accounts to fulfil client and internal team expectations
Recommend talent, negotiate and hire contract crew/vendors
Ensure compliance and bestpractice processes are adhered to
Communicate and document expectations to QC leads and QC Specialists
Lead, mentor, and inspire juniorlevel members of the team
Develop Quality Control Leads and Specialists through continued learning and mentorship
Work alongside leadership to develop reporting lines and career progression paths
Holistically monitor QC team workload and successes through KPIs such as completion time and number of ad units reviewed
Continually audit current QC processes and identify areas for improvement including new technology and automation
Communicate risks and solutions to Executive Producer
Perform Quality control checks such as checking for copy alignment, spelling, technical specification alignment, and technical errors on outputs produced as needed

You will be working closely with
Creative OGD Teams, agency and hiring managers

This may be the right role for you if you have

6+ years in an advertising agency or other production or postproduction studio
Experience managing a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Competence with spreadsheets such as Excel, Numbers or SmartSheets
Expert understanding of video technical specifications
Knowledge of Adobe Suite software including but not limited to Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere
Understanding of video and image delivery specs and exporting standards
Strong organizational skills with experience in file sharing
Data ingest and management experience
Experience with project tracking and generating estimates
Keen eye for design principles and strong attention to detail
