Essential Responsibilities:

Take ownership of model building, deployment under the guidance of Tech lead/Architect.
Develop unit, Integration & System test cases/Scripts.
Understand working of equipment under field usage conditions.
Evaluate available data sources, cleanup and analysis on large data sets.
Develop analyticsbased algorithms for predicting component health or failures.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of diesel locomotives and its subsystems to ensure data integrity and design relevant solutions.
Preprocessing of existing datasets.
Draw inferences and conclusions, identify trends & anomalies from available data (and create dashboards and visualizations of processed data optional)
Translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations.
Collaborate and work closely with required teams to ensure business functionality is delivered on time.
Demonstrate expert skills in core data structures and algorithms and implements them using language of choice.
Implementing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Master's in Engineering in ECE /Computer Science /EEE /IT or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
Expertise in data modeling tools / programming languages such as Python, scala.,
Analytical problemsolving techniques.
Trained and handson on machine learning & statistical modeling tools.
Strong oral / written communication and interpersonal skills.

Technical Expertise:

3+ Programming Knowledge in Python, C++
2+ years handson experience with ML Algorithms, Deep learning Algorithms, Transfer Learning, OpenCV.
2+ experience in image analytics methods like classification, Object detection & image segmentation and Image Analytics algorithms (Like Yolo, RCNN).
Working experience with databases and management SQL..,
Knowledge of statistical techniques and probability.
Knowledge of MVA scoping, development, testing, integration, and deployment
Working knowledge on data pipeline
Image acquisition & tagging, MVA, Aggregation & translation, and Data visualization
Performance monitoring for deployed ML algorithms.
Experience working in any one of the cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data processing.

Desired Characteristics:

Draw inferences and conclusions, identify trends & anomalies from available data (and create dashboards and visualizations of processed data optional)
Good understanding of software testing process.
Knowledge of diesel locomotives and its subsystems to ensure data integrity and design relevant solutions.
