QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Graduate:
BTech/BE required + MBA(Operations)
Overall work experience: 8 years or more
Primary experience in areas of demand and supply planning, warehouse operations and import management
Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP/Oracle is a must along with new age forecasting and planning tools
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a key role in the organization and leads the supply chain and sales operations for the company. The main
objective of this position is to ensure building of strong processes around various aspects of supply chain and
operations such that all customers and channel partners benefit from an efficient organization.
Here are the key expectations from the role:
1. Design and deploy strategies to ensure efficient management of inventory
2. Creating SOP for all key processes around movement of goods and information
3. Implementing technologies to improve costs and efficiencies of each process
4. Implementation of a strong forecasting and demand management system
5. Maintaining warehousing with proper systems and continuous optimization of warehouse functions
6. Meeting and improving on the targets related to DSI and other supply chain parameters
7. External vendor management and development of new vendors for cost optimization
8. Management of warehouse and supply chain team
9. Provide support to channel partners, sales team and end-customers with the right information and assistance
10. Lead the regional customer support team and address all needs of end-customers and channel partners
