As the Financial Analysis professional in our Asset and Wealth Management unit, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

Your role will include daily/weekly/monthly deliverables coordination and automation of the processes.

The person will work closely with the treasurer, mortgage leads and also with the corporate treasury to manage the day to day responsibilities.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for daily/weekly management reports which includes key business metrics for AWM Mortgage business and Liquidity risk management
  • Perform adhoc analysis for management meetings and strategic reviews (e.g., Operating Committee Review, Regional Business and Finance Townhall, Investor Day, etc.)
  • Directly work with AWM Mortgage lead and perform indepth analysis and support on recurring reports and process e

g:
return on equity on mortgages, profitability, production, pricing for Mortgage book

  • Enhance controls for existing process utilized for mortgage, liquidity and lending business and automation where possible.
  • Collaborate with automation/technology team and play a role of business analyst and perform UAT testing and implement reporting changes.
  • Contribute ideas in analyzing business, improving reporting capabilities and delivering new projects with focus to achieve the objectives of the treasury team.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Minimum of CA or an MBA in Finance is required
  • 3+ years of Finance experience, preferably in Financial Services and avid user of technology to bring in efficiencies.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and MS Access a must with strong working knowledge of at least one new age tools i.e Alteryx/Python/Tableau.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills & positive attitude to demonstrate intellectual curiosity
  • Excellent organizational, management, both verbal & written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
  • Highly motivated, able to thrive, comfortable with frequently changing priorities and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Team oriented, inquisitive and able to build strong partnerships with colleagues, desire to learn quickly, be flexible and think strategically

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • MBA/CFA with BE/B.Tech preferred
  • Experience in coding is must
  • New Age technologies ( Alteryx/Python/tableau) working experience preferred.
