This exciting role offers opportunity to:

The principle role is to lead all Indirect procurement activities for Eaton VG businesses in India.

This includes optimizing the indirect spend, drive cost saving opportunities by exploring new suppliers, new solutions in indirect spend of VG India.

Responsible for improving DPO, working capital by negotiating favorable payment terms.

He needs to handle capital purchase and make sure that VG plants get capital goods at best price and on timely basis with favorable payments terms.

This role will be responsible for monthly reporting of actual and forecasting of cost out/in, Economics to finance accurately.

The role will be responsible to provide functional support to Plant Indirect Buyers and own yearly cost saving targets for all VG plants in India.

Key deliverables of role are:

Prepare and deploy long term sourcing strategies for indirect commodities.
Deliver monthly cost saving targets for indirect commodities by identifying & executing new cost saving ideas or exploring alternate suppliers.
Rationalize supplier base and achieve supplier reduction targets. This includes supplier consolidation.
Improve DPO by negotiating better supplier pay terms as per global policy.
Manage and mitigate commodity inflation by effective negotiation, resourcing so that plants will have minimum impact.
Meet all Statutory & internal control compliance.
Strict adherence of indirect processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/ Diploma in engineering with 7+ Yrs. of experience in Indirect Sourcing
Capital Goods (Plant & machinery)
Facilities Management and office services (furniture, cleaning, catering, printers)
MRO (Maintenance repair operation)
Consumable (Grease, Oil etc.)
Packaging management
Travel Management
Fleet Management
IT related services (Telecom, hardware, software)

Utilities (gas, electricity, water)

Working in a Global environment wherein key Stakeholders (Suppliers / Site) are in different regions of the world.
Good Communication and interpersonal Skills.
Customer focus
High sense of urgency
