    Description

    Role Overview :

    We are looking for a go getter person who can define:

    • Analytics strategies to meet the demands of business requirements
    • Technical requirements of the analytic solutions
    • Data requirements of the analytic solution processes
    • The person will be part of the Data Science and Engineering team for a major Insurance client. He/ She will work with different stakeholders as SME for data and cloud engineering.
    • Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new solutions
    • A typical work day will involve working with stakeholders in individual contributor.
    • A suitable candidate should have 9+ years of experience in a similar role and should possess a go -getter attitude. He/ She should be able to deal with ambiguity.
    • Experience in insurance preferred but not mandatory.
    • Should be able to work on a problem independently and prepare client ready deliverable with minimal or no supervision
    Key Responsibilities & Skillsets :

    Required Skillsets :
    • 9+ years of experience in analytics, Oracle, ETL, GCP, Python and associated data engineering jobs. Strong Coding Experience in Python, SQL
    • Must have Experience with managing and transforming big data sets using PySpark
    • Must have Experience of building ETL & ML Pipelines using cloud services AWS, Azure etc.
    • Experience in Cloud Model Deployment using AWS, Azure
    • Must Have Experience with Snowflake
    • Hands on Experience with Python Web Frameworks - Django & Flask
    • Have worked on at least one of the GIT repository management solution (Bitbucket etc.)
    • Experience in stakeholder management, team management (data engineers)
    • Experience in providing technical leadership and guidance to team
    • Experience in managing Python, SQL codes and collaborating with customer on model evolution.
    • Excellent communication & presentation skills for client interaction
    Data Management Skillsets:
    • Ability to understand data models and identify ETL optimization opportunities. Exposure to ETL tools is preferred
    • Should have strong grasp of advanced SQL functionalities (joins, nested query, and procedures).
    • Strong ability to translate functional specifications / requirements to technical requirements
    Candidate degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to applyStrong and in-depth understanding of DE FundamentalsData analysis experienceSuperior analytical and problem solving skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAble to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challengesEnd to End migration from on Premise to Google CloudShould have experience in Stake Holder ManagementNP - Only Immediate joiners not even 7 days will work.
