Roles and Responsibilities


DESIGNATION:
Quality Manager Cum Lab Incharge


REPORTING TO:

Direct Reporting:
Laboratory Director


Dotted Line Reporting:
VP Operations, HR & Legal Affairs


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Report to the Laboratory Director pertaining to all quality problems.
• Ensure all process involved in QMS is defined, established, implemented, maintained, revised continuously as compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
• Ensuring Documentation required for NABL Accreditation program
• Review of Quality Manual and Quality System procedure manual and Technical SOPs.
• Making amendments in the Quality documents and ensuring only current and relevant versions are available for users.
• Review of Quality Indicators Reports & Recommending Corrective Actions based on trends.
• Performing risk assessment in all phases of laboratory process by reviewing the process and discussion with the core team and to document & Ensure that necessary control procedures are followed to mitigate the risk associated with the processes.
• Planning Initiating and Monitoring of continual quality improvement activities in the laboratory.

Coordinating with accrediting agency on all matters related to accreditation.

• Identifying Auditors and Auditee of various departments for the conduct of internal audit.
• Planning, scheduling, conducting and follow up of internal audits and ensuring closure of non-conformities
• Planning, Scheduling and conducting management review meetings and maintaining the records of the same for the stipulated period.
• Review of Internal QC & EQAS results Trends. Perform guidance/support to take corrective action & preventive Action through proper root cause analysis.
• Reporting to top management on the performance of the quality management system and need for improvement (if any).
• Acts as coordinator between Human resource, stores, purchase, IT, Administration, Maintenance and Laboratory services
• Preparation of Training Plan for the laboratory and ensures its implementation.
• Ensures the promotion of awareness of users needs and requirements throughout the laboratory.
• Updating of registers, following TAT on report dispatch
• To coordinate the laboratory activities such as attendance, leave, staff welfare, duty timings and Dress Code.
• Prepare duty roaster for all the staffs in the centre
• To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives
• To be aware of department performance and objective
• To carry out data collection/Supporting data collection
• To adhere to the safety norms of laboratory /Collection centre and follow both patient and staff safety rules
• To perform any job / Task as and when assigned by the superior

M.sc, M.Phil (Bio Chemistry) NABL Accrediation

Exp : 4 to 10 years

Pkg : 30,000 to 40,000 per Month based on your experience
