    About the Role


    The Auditor conducts independent audits across all facets of Magna's operations as outlined in our Internal Audit Charter. The primary objective is to ensure adherence to established protocols and regulations, and uphold operational and financial benchmarks.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Perform audit procedures for business units within specified timelines
    • Prepare audit documentation and pre-audit tasks
    • Adhere to departmental and IIA Professional Practice standards in documenting audit processes, enabling an informed and unbiased risk assessment
    • Evaluate audit findings
    • Proactively identify internal control gaps or risks, offering recommendations to mitigate such risks and enhance controls
    • Spot opportunities for refining business workflows
    • Present audit discoveries and suggestions to management
    • Engage with stakeholders regarding recommendations or corrective measures, as necessary
    • Assist in investigating any improper activities
    • Deliver on-site or remote audit assistance for engagements in diverse regions
    • Undertake additional tasks as delegated by Internal Audit department leadership

    Who we are looking for


    Skills and Competencies
    • Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders professionally and confidentially, with composure and tact in challenging situations
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Strong aptitude for problem-solving and analysis
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced Excel capabilities
    • Familiarity with SAP R/3 or SAP S/4 HANA, and exposure to ERP solutions like QAD, CMS, and Trans4M would be advantageous
    • Experience with Data Analytics Platforms is a bonus

    Your preferred qualifications

    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in business or information systems
    • Possess CA (or equivalent CPA) or CIA certification
    • Certifications such as CISA or CFE are viewed favorably
    • Minimum of three years' experience in financial, operational, and compliance audits (including Sarbanes-Oxley) within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive sector
