    This is a contract position with a high potential to transition into a full-time role after the initial contract period.

    Key Skills :

    Must-Have Expertise :

    • 8+ years of experience administering Oracle Databases.
    • 8+ years of experience managing Oracle RAC environments.
    • 8+ years of experience utilizing Statspack and AWR for performance analysis and optimization.
    • 6+ years of experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication technology.
    • 4+ years of experience using GoldenGate with Big Data Adapter for data integration.
    • Proven ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within Oracle databases.

    Plus Factors :

    • Experience working with AWS RDS (Relational Database Service).
    • Experience managing Exadata Database Machines.
    • Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server and AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
    • Experience configuring GoldenGate replication for data sources like SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

    Responsibilities :

    • Perform all aspects of Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, patching, backup & recovery, security management, and user administration.
    • Manage and optimize Oracle RAC environments for high availability and scalability.
    • Utilize Statspack and AWR reports to proactively monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
    • Design, implement, and manage Oracle GoldenGate replication for realtime data synchronization between Oracle databases and other data sources (including Big Data platforms).
    • Work collaboratively with developers and other IT professionals to ensure the smooth operation and performance of database systems.
    • Stay uptodate on the latest Oracle technologies and best practices.
