Description
This is a full-time off-shore (back-office) role for a Finance Associate located in Kochi.

The Finance Associate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, financial reporting, and preparing financial statements of the assigned overseas or local clients.

The Finance Associate will also analyze financial data, perform various financial calculations, and communicate with other team members for effective reporting and data analytics Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.


Responsibilities:

A. REPORTING & VERIFICATION


Prepare various MIS Reports such as Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Variance Reports, Profitability Statements and cost & claim allocations.

Reconciliation of daily revenue, payments, income, expenses, cash, bank and balance sheet accounts

Compiling Budgets and Budgetary Controls.

B. REVENUE / ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE


Prepare, enter and track financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts receivable transactions into appropriate software programmes or office tools.

Review and Reconciliation of insurance/corporate clients ledger, Rejection and Claim analysis and Reporting

Prepare Ageing Report of customers, sending SOA and Follow up for payments.

Escalation of the outstanding and overdue to relevant stakeholders in the business.

C. EXPENSES / ACCOUNTS PAYABLE


Prepare, enter and track financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable transactions into appropriate software programmes or office tools.

Follow-up for supplier statements, reconciliation, reporting and assisting payable function

Maintain Post Dated cheques, report and monitor on a regular basis.


Preparing Accommodation rent schedule of employees of all the branches and other staff staying in Company Accommodation and reconciling the same with the respective ledgers & reporting to HR/AP.

Qualifications& Experience Requirement

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant stream.

Proficiency in Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Analytical Skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

1-year relevant experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, MS-Excel in particular and accounting software
