Essential Duties

Define and communicate the product vision, goals, and objectives to the development team and stakeholders.
Ensure that wider stakeholder groups are informed of solution changes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it is properly groomed, refined, and ready for development.
Break down complex features and projects into actionable tasks for the development team.
Provide the development team with clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring a shared understanding of the desired outcomes.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Work closely with the development team to ensure that features are implemented according to requirements and delivered on time.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, userfriendly software interfaces.
Conduct user acceptance testing and continuously gather feedback to improve the software product.
Monitor market trends and competitor products to identify enhancements and innovation opportunities.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the product's progress, highlighting any risks, issues, or dependencies.
Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, facilitating communication and managing expectations.
Stay current with industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies related to software product management.
Define key product metrics and monitor performance against goals to identify areas for optimisation and improvement.

Desired Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience
Software / Banking).
Extensive experience as a product owner (or relatable areas like CS) 7+ yrs within Banking, financial, consulting or software industries.
Strong record in delivering complex software products through agile delivery.
Proven experience as a software product owner or in a similar product management role.
Indepth knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to prioritise and make datadriven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.
Experience working with Agile project management tools like Jira or Trello.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
A proactive and selfmotivated attitude, passionate about delivering highquality software products.
