Founded in 1986, the Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ) is one of the oldest and most prestigious gems & and jewellery education brands in the country.
IIGJ is an initiative of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) which was established in 1966 and is the apex body driving India's export-led growth, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt.
of India.
IIGJ campuses are located in Mumbai, New Delhi, Jaipur, Varanasi, and Udupi - offering undergraduate degrees, post-graduate and undergraduate diplomas, short-term programs, professional certifications, and programs for students and industry professionals, with an alumni base of 22,000+ members.
THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Administrative Support:
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, document management, and recordkeeping.
- Manage the CEO's expense reports and reimbursement requests.
Project Coordination:
- Assist in coordinating special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
Communication and Presentation:
- Ensure that all communication on behalf of the CEO is clear, accurate, and professional.
Analytical Tasks:
- Conduct data research and analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Prepare and analyze various reports, including financial data, enrollment statistics, and operational metrics.
Report Writing:
- Generate comprehensive reports on institute performance, trends, and key performance indicators.
- Summarize complex data into concise and actionable reports for the CEO and senior management.
MIS Report Management:
- Develop and maintain a system for collecting, organizing, and presenting national Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of MIS reports.
Calendar Management:
- Efficiently manage the CEO's daily schedule, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prioritize and coordinate various commitments to ensure the CEO's time is optimized.
Comprehension Skills:
- Quickly understand complex issues and provide crisp summaries and recommendations to the CEO.
Confidentiality:
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's in Commerce, Arts, Science, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Master's degree will be preferred.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role.
- Smart, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Prior experience in the education/training sector or gems and jewellery industry is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
Job Types:

Salary:
₹600, ₹800,000.00 per year
