Overview:


As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.

You will handle guest inquiries, check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and assist with various administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities:

Guest Relations:


  • Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with inquiries, requests, and concerns.
  • Handle guest checkins and checkouts efficiently, ensuring a smooth process.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Respond to guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner, escalating as necessary.

Reservations and Bookings:


  • Process hotel reservations, including online bookings, phone reservations, and walkins.
  • Ensure accuracy in booking details, including room types, rates, and special requests.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest preferences and special requests.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions.

Administrative Support:


  • Manage the hotel's front desk operations, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and guest billing.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, payments, and room assignments.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.

Safety and Security:


  • Monitor the lobby area and ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Handle guest emergencies or security incidents, following hotel procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies when handling guest information.

Team Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with other hotel staff members to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and reservation systems.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or tourism is a plus.

Pay:
₹9, ₹25,459.26 per month
