Your work profile

As a Manager in our Statutory Audit (A&A) Team you'll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

  • You are expected to lead the field team in performing the statutory audit and report to the Senior Manager concerned. The clientele would be across a gamut of industries including manufacturing, telecom, software, media, FMCG etc.
  • You should handle and execute external/ statutory audit engagements of various clients in line with Auditing & Accounting standards as per firm's methodology.
  • You should perform the audit/reviews in accordance with firm methodology to comply with the auditing standards.
  • You must ensure proper documentation of audit work performed.
  • You should have understanding and review of the internal control systems.
  • You must ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with accounting standards.
  • You should timely coordinate with the client staff to ensure timely completion of audit.
  • You should timely communicate with client as well as with the audit manager on audit issues.
  • You must review the work papers of article clerks and assistant manager.
  • You should lead and mentor article clerks and assistant managers on the audit engagements.

Desired qualifications

  • They should be qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • They should have 5 - 8 years of post-qualification statutory audit experience.
  • They must be excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • They must demonstrate ability in delivering to agreed engagement plan.
  • They should experience in client relationship development.
  • They should be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • They must have advance knowledge of Indian accounting standards both current and proposed.
  • They should have advance Knowledge of India auditing standards.

Location and way of working.

  • Base location: Bangalore
  • This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations.
  • Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customized the hybrid approach to their unique needs.
