Today, the Group serves more than 1,500 insurance, financial services, public sector, and other highly regulated clients.

Our client is looking for an experienced Portfolio Finance Administrator.

The role of the Portfolio Finance Manager is to ensure the quality of the financial management practice across the portfolio of programs and projects.

A key part of the role will be ensuring appropriate forecasting and tracking of spend is captured and effectively reported into key governance forums.

You will work within a dynamic transformation team and closely with the key delivery leads across a diverse range of strategic projects.

To succeed in this role, you must be proactive and independent and take initiative with consistent follow-through.

You must have 5+ years' relevant experience and a professional / master's degree in accounting or finance and strong analytical, financial, and systems skills, including advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.

Additionally, you will need to have a high-level attention to detail and problem-solving skills as well as superior time management skills while working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.

You need to be capable of working collaboratively and independently with mínimal supervision while demonstrating the ability to create solutions in the financial environment.

This role is a full-time, home-based position.


This position services the UK office and hence will be required to work as per the UK timings.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Analysing and reporting status of project finance status
  • Ensure appropriate forecasting and actualisation is timely and accurate across all projects
  • Ensuring changes to agreed project budgets are appropriately governed through change control and applied
  • Validating the accuracy of forecast information and escalating risks or issues where appropriate
  • Undertake quality assurance on SPM platform to ensure effective management of agreed project budgets
  • Provides Inflight support and assurance to delivery teams if finance processes
  • Raise Procurement requisitions and manage purchase orders ensuring they are reflected in appropriate cost models
  • Undertake timesheet reconciliation, exceptional/capex reporting incl. nonbudgeted allocation/request escalation

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required

  • A Professional degree in Finance
  • Must have at least two years of experience in a similar role and an overall finance experience of 5 years
  • Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis
  • Experience (or knowledge / understanding) of CAPEX
  • Understanding of project management and business change skillsets
  • Understanding of business process and technology change.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities, multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Build trusting relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Work with colleagues across the Group, including international time zones and local culture.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, naturally inquisitive and eager to learn and develop.
  • Experience and expertise in delivery of Projects in an Agile environment is an advantage.

Pay:
₹734, ₹1,108,246.82 per year
