Description

The SOC Operator is responsible for using best practices to identify, analyze and support all incidents that are either impactful or potentially impactful to business, resources, the company brand and or its employees.

This position is responsible for communicating information surrounding those incidents to leadership or personnel as appropriate.

The SOC Operator will monitor cameras and alarms, and dispatch associated security officers via telephone and radio, operate access control technology, and provide general assistance to both employees and visitors.

The SOC Operator supports regional and global headquarters and field teams as they prepare for, respond to, and recover from both crisis and non-crisis incidents.


Responsibilities will involve:

  • Monitor security systems, CCTV cameras, access control systems, and other technologies to detect and respond to security incidents in realtime.
  • Promptly assess and escalate security threats, emergencies, and incidents to the appropriate personnel and teams.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to manage security incidents, coordinating with onsite personnel, law enforcement, and thirdparty vendors as needed.
  • Document all incidents, actions taken, and outcomes in a detailed and accurate manner.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, management, and external partners to provide updates on ongoing incidents and ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
  • Assist in conducting regular security checks of facilities and equipment, identifying and reporting any anomalies or vulnerabilities and participate in all security audits.
  • Participate in training programs to maintain and enhance knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and technology updates.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to review security processes and recommend improvements based on observed trends and incident analyses.
  • Support the Shift Lead and other team members in various tasks related to security operations.
  • Stay informed about global security trends, emerging threats, and best practices in security management.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security operations, surveillance, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused during extended monitoring periods.
  • Proficiency in using security technology, including CCTV, access control systems, and incident management software.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and concise reporting.
  • Good knowledge of MS office, Power BI, Lenel etc. will be an advantage.
  • Quick decisionmaking abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
