This is your role:

Electrical /Mechanical Engineer 6 to 10 years of experience in Domestic & import procurement.
Hands on procurement of electrical commodities like Local control Cubicles, Drive panel, cables, cable termination, surge Arrester, Current transformer ,voltage transformer ,SF6 air bushing, switches, annunciator & secondary parts etc
Should be able to read schematic drawings ,understand layouts & capable of resolving supplier techno commercial issues
Should be good in communication to interact internally & externally
Knowledge of secondary equipment's functioning & involvement in development of the same
Awareness of procurement end to end process & its monitoring is must
Awareness of inventory Management, safety stock calculations, logistic management is much needed.
Knowledge of commodities like casting, machining, sheet metal ,fabrication, subcontracting will be added advantage.
Should be analytical and deft at root cause and costing analysis.
Relevant experience in switchgear high voltage/medium voltage industry is preferred
