    Description

    Job Description:

    We are looking for a talented and experienced System Administrator/Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our organization's network infrastructure, and ensuring its security, reliability, and performance. This role requires a strong understanding of network protocols, systems administration, and cybersecurity best practices.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
    2. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
    3. Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and virtualization platforms.
    4. Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other cybersecurity threats.
    5. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary remediation actions.
    6. Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights across network systems and applications.
    7. Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
    8. Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and support IT infrastructure projects and initiatives.
    9. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on network and system-related issues.
    10. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity.

    Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    2. 1 years of experience working as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
    3. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
    4. Experience with network hardware, including Cisco, Juniper, or similar devices.
    5. Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
    6. Experience with server administration, including Windows Server and Linux/Unix systems.
    7. Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
    8. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
    9. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    11. Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, MCSA, or equivalent, are preferred.
