    Description

    Overview:

    As a PlumbingDesign Engineer you will play a crucial role in the design anddevelopment of plumbing systems for various construction andinfrastructure projects. You will work closely with architectsmechanical engineers and construction teams to ensure the efficientand effective delivery of plumbing solutions that comply withindustry standards andregulations.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Develop detailedplumbing layouts and schematics using AutoCADsoftware
    • Conduct hydraulic and loadcalculations to ensure optimal systemperformance
    • Collaborate with architects andconstruction teams to integrate plumbing systems into buildingdesigns
    • Review and interpret plumbing codes andstandards to ensure compliance
    • Preparetechnical reports and documentation for plumbing designs andspecifications
    • Perform site visits to assessplumbing system requirements and provide onsitesupport
    • Coordinate with suppliers and vendorsto select appropriate plumbing materials andequipment
    • Participate in project meetings andprovide technical expertise on plumbing designmatters
    • Conduct design reviews and offerrecommendations for improvements
    • Manage projecttimelines budgets and resources related to plumbing designtasks
    • Stay updated with industry trends andbest practices in plumbing design andtechnology
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinaryteams to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems with otherbuilding components
    • Provide technical supportto junior engineers and drafters
    • Ensurecompliance with safety regulations and standards in all plumbingdesign activities
    • Contribute to sustainable andenergyefficient plumbing systemdesigns

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Bachelors degree inMechanical Engineering or related field
    • Minimumof 67 years of experience in plumbing system design andengineering
    • Proficiency in using AutoCAD andother relevant design software
    • Thoroughunderstanding of plumbing codes andregulations
    • Excellent technical writing andcommunication skills
    • Strong project managementcapabilities
    • Ability to perform hydrauliccalculations and system modeling
    • Familiaritywith sustainable and green plumbing designprinciples
    • Experience with value engineeringand costeffective design solutions
    • Knowledge ofbuilding information modeling (BIM) and its application to plumbingdesign
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectivelyin interdisciplinary teams
    • Strongproblemsolving and analytical skills
    • Attentionto detail and accuracy in designdocumentation
    • Ability to prioritize and managemultiple projectssimultaneously
