Business Analyst - Hedge Fund - Geneva

Your Responsibilities:


  • Handling various migrations/implementations/transitions from legacy book keeping and
- accounting systems over to Advent Geneva

  • Understand user requirements and articulate the same to the technology team
  • Meeting client expectation and completion of projects under strict timeframe.
  • Handling Fund implementation, on boarding new clients into a fund accounting system(Advent Geneva)
  • Managing Advent Geneva version upgrade
  • Managing Advent Geneva functional support
  • Managing end to end project implementations
  • Good experience in handling securities market operations for large customers.
  • Good Indepth Exposure to various Listed and OTC instruments such as equity, derivatives,
  • IRS, CDS, Bonds and a thorough understanding of end to end life cycle of these products.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and influencing skills, Leadership.
  • Through understanding of various functions in Investment banking/Hedge fund Operations
- including Trade Booking, Confirmations, Settlements, Collateral management, Reconciliation, Valuation/pricing and Accounting.

  • Understanding of Advent Geneva would be a big plus
  • Understanding of any other fund accounting systems will be an added advantage

Your Profile:


  • Any Graduate / MBA / CA with 3 5 years of experience
  • Through understanding of various functions in Investment banking/Hedge fund Operations
including Trade Booking, Confirmations, Settlements, Collateral management, Reconciliation, Valuation/pricing and Accounting.

  • Understanding of various platforms and tools used across front, middle and/or back office operations in an alternative asset management setup
  • Should have actively worked on large and midsized technology projects
  • Should have indepth understanding of SDLC
  • Indepth Exposure to various Listed and OTC instruments such as equity, derivatives, IRS, CDS, Bonds, Bank Debts, and a thorough understanding of end to end life cycle of these products.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and influencing skills
  • Understanding of Advent Geneva would be a big plus
  • Understanding of any other fund accounting systems will be an added advantage
