Customs Clearance Executive will be involved overseeing and managing the customs clearance process for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and facilitating the smooth movement of goods across international borders.

Customs Documentation Preparation:


  • Prepare and review all necessary customs documentation required for import and export shipments, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation to expedite the customs clearance process and minimize delays.

Customs Clearance Procedures:


  • Coordinate and facilitate the clearance of goods through customs checkpoints, ensuring compliance with relevant customs laws and regulations.
  • Submit customs declarations and other required paperwork to customs authorities, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Liaise with customs officials to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to customs clearance, such as tariff classification, valuation, or duty rates.

Tariff Classification and Valuation:


  • Determine the correct classification of goods according to the Harmonized System (HS) code and ensure accurate valuation for customs purposes.

Regulatory Compliance:


  • Stay informed about changes in import/export regulations, customs laws, and trade policies, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and requirements.
  • Provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders and clients on regulatory compliance matters, including trade sanctions, restricted or prohibited goods, and licensing requirements.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding customsrelated inquiries, updates, and issues.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information, address concerns, and provide updates on the status of customs clearance processes.
  • Provide personalized support and assistance to clients, offering solutions to customsrelated challenges and ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Identify and resolve customsrelated issues, such as customs delays, documentation errors, or compliance violations.
