Description

The person in this position is responsible for arranging logistics processes within the company, warehouse, cities/countries for the business purposes.

will be responsible to provide a procurement and logistics management service to the relevant business unit through frequent reporting and ensuring that goods are delivered on time, within budget and compliant with procurement policies and within the expected quality requirements.

Including contracts administration of the various supply, services and export/import contracts and where necessary offer input into the relevant Contract administration.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Related work experience


Prior proven experience of minimum 3 years as a logistics manager/ transport manager/ warehouse manager/ procurement manager or similar role in pharma/ medical devices and equipment industries is preferred.

Minimum of two years of international logistics/supply chain work, work with the shipments abroad, customs clearance and related work


Formal education or equivalent
Degree in Supply Chain Management/Engineering/Master of Business Administration


Skills
Excellent knowledge in Excel, MSWord, and PowerPoint;
ProActive, fast learning;
Good understanding of accounting system;
Knowledge and experience in warehouse managing and logistics;
Strong knowledge of supply chains available in India including international, their processes and documentation required, customs clearance procedures;
Organizational skills;
Negotiation skill;
Self organized with excellent time management and administrative skills;
High degree of self motivation and ambition;
Excellent skills of writing reports and to make suggestions on how to improve the procurement and logistics procedures of the company;

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Procurement/ Logistics functions: 100%

  • Conduct your functions as per the rules/policies of the company and job responsibilities.
  • Evaluating budgets and expenditures.
  • Responsible for evaluations, recommendations, and final procurement strategy
  • Coordinate, Arrange, Register in log books and Track the international and domestic shipments of products.
  • Communicate with thirdparty services: logistics, suppliers, repair services etc.
  • Support negotiations with Suppliers and Contractors and prepare final draft contracts in coordination with the legal team.
  • Build up a database of the needful suppliers and contractors, logistics services and always update the rates of services.
  • Request proposals, evaluate, negotiate, conclude, and contract service agreements and supply accounts
  • Take part in team discussion (including global departments) on the improvement of supply chain procedures.
  • Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries. Be responsible for the customs clearance of goods received.
  • Responding to any issues or complaints.
  • Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
  • Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
  • Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
  • Conduct the full check up of the received prosthesis before delivering it to the customer to generate the best sales revenue/ customer satisfaction and company reputation.
  • Confirm individual orders of prostheses with sales managers, pass it to the production department in Russia, follow the deadlines of its manufacturing/ readiness and track the supply from Russia to India and other countries if there is a need.
- Сoordinated work with related departments of Motorica in different countries to receive the appropriate spare parts for repair and for increasing the stock in the warehouse.

  • Organizing warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments.
  • Maintain the tidiness of the warehouse and well arranged (in perfect order position) materials and products in the warehouse: signed boxes or containers in the appropriate place on the shelves.
  • Control the stock of the spare parts and other materials needed for work in the workshop/warehouse as per the requirements. Purchase, transportation of needed spare parts/materials/ products if needed PanIndia and globally. Maintain the vendors' list, their price list and do the needful purchases in time.
  • Searching, Selection and Purchase of the spare parts and materials for the best price and best quality as per the written order by different departments for repair or manufacturing purposes.
  • Arranging purchase and logistics of company products and their spare parts within India and globally as well;
