The opportunity
EY Technology is expanding the team which manages and maintains our growing internal ServiceNow platforms.

This is an opportunity in a fast-paced environment working and consulting on technical projects, architecture and best practices with our world class developers, support and platform engineering staff.

As a ServiceNow Architect you will become one of the go-to staff who provide strategic direction, ensures project implementation and leverages a deep understanding of the platform to ensure critical business needs are met.

The goals of the ServiceNow Architect are to provide answers to technical queries, provide technical guidance, assist with complex break fix and technical requirements and act as a central resource for all things ServiceNow.

This position requires you to challenge yourself to create and innovate while ensuring current and future continuity and extensibility of the platform.


Your key responsibilities

  • In this key role you will be responsible for working with multiple teams and internal clients to assist with the following duties:
  • Acting as a technical Point of Contact for all areas of the platform
  • Providing Guidance on best practices
  • Maintaining/Increasing Platform Health
  • Maintaining/Increasing Platform Security
  • Consulting/Advising on Solutions
  • Attempting to minimize customization
  • Advising where a requirement is not feasible or advisable and highlighting risks.
  • Assisting with road map development and prototyping
  • Executing Platform related projects
  • Assisting with Incident resolution when needed
  • Mentoring of other team members
  • Ability to see (big picture) impacts of configurations or customizations beyond the current scope of work
  • Ability to learn emerging or currently not in use features the tool very quickly

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

  • At least 6 years of design, development & administration experience of the ServiceNow platform
  • Extensive experience with SOAP and REST integrations and associated security protocols
  • Experience configuring, deploying and supporting Discovery and Service Mapping
  • Substantial Service Portal Experience
  • Understand Infrastructure (equipment, OIDs, PowerShell, SSH Commands)
  • Proven track record of technical leadership roles delivering complex requirements using creative and innovative methods
  • Proven track record of building relationships with multiple diverse stakeholder groups to complete complex initiatives
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • Exceptional communication skills which allow effective communication with all ranks of stakeholders who may be technical or nontechnical stakeholders
  • Ability to drive initiatives with mínimal supervision

Ideally, you'll also have

  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations Certification
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodology
  • Orchestration experience
  • Schedule Flexibility (we have global stakeholders)
