- Conduct control design and operating effectiveness reviews according to the State Street Framework, including documenting RCMs and outcomes of control design and effectiveness evaluations.
- Conduct walkthroughs with management of business units and subject matter experts to pinpoint risk areas, control vulnerabilities, and opportunities for enhancing the risk landscape.
- Evaluate the control design and operating effectiveness of end-to-end processes to ensure proper mitigation of operational and compliance risks, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Business and Risk teams to supervise and execute monitoring and testing programs in line with State Street standards.
- Manage staff in a matrix setup, overseeing employee development, addressing concerns, and ensuring effective time management.
- Solid understanding of financial services and investment products.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, and PPT)
- Knowledge of Operations in the Financial Industry
- Graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Risk Management, or equivalent experience is desirable
- 8 to 9 years of experience in Control Assurance Testing and Risk Management
