Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

TIG Welding: Perform TIG welding operations on a range of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys to meet project specifications.

Reading Blueprints: Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to produce accurate and high-quality welds.

Material Preparation: Clean, prepare, and set up welding materials, ensuring proper fit and alignment before welding.

Weld Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making necessary adjustments as needed.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and perform routine checks on TIG welding equipment to ensure proper functionality, reporting any issues for prompt resolution.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines, protocols, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.

Collaboration: Work closely with team members, fabricators, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and successful completion of projects.

Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot welding issues, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired results.

Requirements:

Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification in TIG welding is highly desirable.

Experience: Proven experience as a TIG Welder, with a strong portfolio showcasing precision and quality in TIG welding work.

Technical Skills: Proficient in TIG welding techniques, understanding metallurgy, and the ability to work with various metals. Familiarity with other welding processes is a plus.

Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and precision, ensuring the highest quality in finished products.

Safety Conscious: Strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and work in various positions.

Communication Skills: Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
