Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the manufacturing processes within a production facility. Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of production workers, providing guidance, support, and direction.
• Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork, motivation, and accountability.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.

Production Planning:

• Collaborate with the production planning team to develop schedules and prioritize production tasks.
• Ensure timely and efficient execution of production plans.
• Adjust production schedules as needed to respond to changing demands.

Quality Control:

• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet specified standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and prevent defects.

Safety Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment.
• Conduct safety training sessions for production staff.
• Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, taking corrective actions as necessary.

Resource Management:

• Manage and optimize resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production goals efficiently.
• Coordinate with maintenance and logistics teams to ensure equipment reliability and availability.

Performance Monitoring:

• Track and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement performance measurement systems to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of production processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Communication:

• Maintain open communication channels with other departments, such as logistics, maintenance, and quality assurance.
• Report production status, issues, and achievements to upper management.
• Act as a liaison between workers and management to address concerns and provide feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., industrial engineering, manufacturing) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a track record of leadership.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
• Familiarity with manufacturing software and systems.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
