Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Four years of experience in the operations and maintenance of water treatment or wastewater treatment or similar mechanical systems.

Education Requirements:

Completion of Secondary School (Class XII) and apprenticeship or vocational training as producing journeyman level in the field of heating or ventilation or air conditioning or plumbers and/or mechanical system specialist trained in the maintenance of commercial or industrial buildings/facilities is required.

Please indicate your proficiency level separately for each of the required languages, using one of the following levels:

Level 1, Basic:

Examples: Basic greetings, phrases, numbers and signs.

Level 2, Limited:

Examples: Directions, simple questions

Level 3, Good working knowledge:

Examples: Conversations about familiar topics, complex documents

Level 4, Fluent:

Examples: Infer nuanced meaning from complex documents

Level 5, Translator:

Examples: Certified professional translator in this language

Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) in English & Hindi (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required. English language may be tested.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Valid Indian/International Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license is required.**

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in New Delhi, India may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time the conditional offer letter is issued by the HR Office.
