    Component Specialist


    Job description:
    In the area of Automotive Wire Harness Components main tasks and responsibilities of the job typically include:


    Defining, developing and releasing functional and component requirements for Wire Harness components and systems in a car, such as Connectors, Power Terminals, etc.

    Assessing project requirements
    Agreeing and negotiating project budgets, timescales and specifications with clients, suppliers and managers
    Developing test procedures
    Interpreting and analyzing results and data from tests.
    Writing reports and documentation
    Giving presentations
    Supporting the sourcing process of vehicle components
    Working closely with application, production and manufacturing engineers
    Making improvements to vehicles in response to customer feedback/needs
    Providing technical advice and answering queries from clients
    Using specialist computer modeling software.

    Candidate must have at least the following characteristics:

    Technical Skills:
    Good knowledge of electro-technical and mechanical
    Knowledge of automotive wire harness components preferred.
    CAD competence for mechanical parts
    Good knowledge of office tools

    Soft Skills:
    Fluent English (speaking and writing)
    Ability to embrace the assigned tasks and goals
    Ability to work in team and to organize complex tasks
    Ability to work in multi-cultural teams.
    Ability to synthetize and create final reports.
    High attitude to innovate and/or suggest new solution (think out of the box)
    Problem solving attitude.

    Education:
    Electrotechnics or Electronic High School Degree
