Job Title:
Maintenance Supervisor

Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance operations of a facility, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, systems, and infrastructure. They lead a team of maintenance technicians and coordinate maintenance activities to optimize facility performance and minimize downtime.


Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:


  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and teamwork among maintenance staff.

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:


  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure preventive maintenance and timely repairs of equipment and systems.
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to operations.
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency, equipment criticality, and operational requirements.

Equipment Maintenance and Repair:


  • Oversee the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or equipment servicing.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance activities.

Safety and Compliance:


  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards in all maintenance activities.
  • Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards and risks.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Proven experience in maintenance operations, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Job Types:

Pay:
₹17,000.00 per month
