The opportunity

  • Leads the Development & Engineering team in area of specialism and develops the team to ensure it has the right capability
  • Work very closely with Product Owners, Software Developers, Designers and Domain Experts, in an Agile working model.
  • Assume additional technical, organizational or coordination tasks or roles, as required
  • Strategically leverages networks to drive innovation, best practice and a continuous improvement culture
  • Collaborate intensively with colleagues inside and outside the team and collaborate professionally with Business Owners.

Your key responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for designing, developing, implementing and testing complete endtoend business processes with a strong focus on quality
  • Guide team development efforts towards successful product delivery.
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
  • Work effectively in a fast paced and changing business environment. Flexibility and adaptability are must haves to be successful in this role.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Highly advanced knowledge of designing, developing, and debugging solutions
  • Knowledge in the following areas is beneficial: SCP, CPI, Cloud Foundry, SAP Gateway.
  • Knowledge of automation test frameworks like OPA5/QUnits is desirable.
  • Good communication skills

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
  • B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA with an aggregate score of 70% or above from IIT/NIT/any tier 1 Institute preferred
  • 6 to 9 years' of experience in software development primarily in SAP technologies.
  • Strong development skills in following areas: ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), ADT for Eclipse, Enabling the Transactional Behaviour of an App, RAP Data Modeling and Behaviour, CDS Views, CDS Annotations, Analytical Annotations, Draft Enablement, Web API, ABAP, OO ABAP, AMDP, BOPF, Native HANA modelling, Analytical Queries and SQL Script, NetWeaver Gateway, SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, JavaScript, UML Concepts.
  • Should have clear understanding of connectivity between BTP and S4 system (Onpremise/Cloud) (Destination service/Connectivity Service/Cloud Connector)
  • Strong focus on Database and experienced in writing scalable SQL
  • Experience in OData / Rest protocols
  • Should have experience in Developing HANA OData Services, XSJS etc...

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Strong analytical capabilities and logical skills, Solution designing experience is a must.
  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
  • Good understanding of agile methodology and scrum processes.
