As the due diligence professional in our Operational Due Diligence team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

Job responsibilities

  • Supporting the operational due diligence process for alternative investment managers (hedge fund, private equity, real estate, private credit, and venture capital) and collaborating with the Manager Solutions and Private investment due diligence teams
  • Setting up and disseminating operationally focused questionnaires across a range of investment strategies and products
  • Preparing for and participating in operational due diligence meetings with 3rd party investment managers (in person and virtual); this includes evaluating and forming an opinion on various operational risks such as organizational infrastructure, counterparties and service providers, valuation processes, cyber security, compliance and regulatory issues
  • Reviewing and scoring responses to operational due diligence questionnaires
  • Working collaboratively with control partners in governance, risk, compliance and internal audit
  • Presenting analyses, findings and opinions at Investment and Governance Committee meetings
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Qualified professional with 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Related experience in fund due diligence, risk advisory, consulting etc. (e.g. Asset Management, Big 4 Audit/Advisory, management consulting, regulatory agency)
  • Good understanding of financial markets and various security types
  • Good understanding of investment strategies and fund structures
  • Exceptional organization and analytical skills
  • Investigative skills and attention to detail
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Any progress to CFA designation will be a plus
