Our teams of technical experts specialize in harnessing live sporting data, using advanced cloud technologies, Java, JavaScript and Python.

It is these tech teams that enable us to extract patterns through AI and Machine Learning and deliver our insights via APIs.

In short, they turn complex data into magical experiences with cutting-edge technology.


Responsibilities:


  • Take requests for purchasing of goods and services from across our Technology team and raise formal Purchase Requisitions ("PR") in our Oracle Finance system.
  • Ensure PR is created accurately and to the required level of detail.
  • Liaise with IT requestors to clarify and resolve any queries around the supporting information, quote, item details etc. for purchases.
  • Work under the direction of the Head of IT Service Strategy to ensure new supplier requests (and changes to existing suppliers) are coordinated with the Supplier Data management team.
  • Become expert at understanding cost coding and identification of correct coding on a peritem basis.
  • Provide timely updates to requesters relating to order progress in the event of delays or issues.
  • Support AP team with invoice matching and queries relating to IT purchases.
  • Update and maintain our IT asset register and create Contract Records within our ServiceNow platform for purchased goods and services.

Desired Qualifications:


  • Fluent English speaker
  • ITliterate with an understanding of technology terminology
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Attention to detail is essential.

Additional responsibilities

  • Work with Technology management on initiatives around global and regional service suppliers.
  • Collaborate with technology service owners to maintain records relating to costs and renewals, for services such as Network circuits, Hardware Maintenance agreements and Data Centre hosting.
  • Support the IT Operations team with local and central IT stock management.
  • Other exceptional suppliers, purchase order and asset register activities as required.
