Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement swimming lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and objectives.
  • Conduct swimming lessons for students of different age groups and skill levels.
  • Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students to help them improve their swimming techniques.
  • Ensure the safety of all students during swimming lessons by enforcing pool rules and maintaining a vigilant presence.
  • Evaluate student progress and proficiency levels and communicate with parents/guardians as needed.
  • Collaborate with other school staff members to coordinate swimming lessons and activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized swimming environment, including pool equipment and facilities.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in swimming instruction.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience working as a swimming instructor or lifeguard, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Certification in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid from a recognized organization
  • Proficiency in swimming strokes, techniques, and water safety principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with different learning styles and abilities.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children.
  • Flexibility to work during school hours, afterschool programs, and occasional weekends for swim meets or events.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in physical education, recreation, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in swim instruction or coaching
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, including students with disabilities or special needs.
  • Knowledge of competitive swimming rules and techniques.

Pay:
From ₹20,000.00 per month

  • Morning shift
