Job description

We are looking for an innovative procurement Assistant manager role for our Barton fresh

segment of exotic vegetables and fruits to lead our procurement team. You will spearhead the

purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide

guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and costeffective.
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
  • Building and maintaining longterm relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and
services.

  • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of longterm saving on
procurement costs.

  • Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the
supply of goods.

  • Preparing procurement reports.
Education and Experience

  • Minimum experience of 3yrs in the relevant domain.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business
administration.

  • Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
  • Indepth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation
terms.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Multitasking and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detailoriented.

Job Types:
Full-time, Regular / Permanent


Salary:
₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
