    JobOverview

    We are looking for askilled Purchase Manager for the Solar Power Solution industry inVasco Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts pricestimelines etc. Maintaining the supplier database purchase recordsand related documentation. You should be able to multitaskeffectively be an effective communicator and should have anattitude of project ownership.

    JobResponsibilities

    • Conductthorough research to identify potential vendors for the procurementof goods and services.
    • Compare and evaluateoffers from different suppliers to ensure optimal quality andpricing.
    • Negotiate contract terms includingpricing and delivery schedules to secure favorable agreements forthe company.
    • Monitor orders and ensure timelydelivery of products addressing any delays or issues that arise.
    • Review the quality of purchased products toensure they meet company standards and specifications.
    • Enter order details into internal databasesaccurately including vendor information quantities and prices.
    • Maintain updated records of purchased productsdelivery information and invoices for auditing purposes.
    • Prepare reports on purchases including costanalyses to provide insights for decisionmaking.
    • Monitor stock levels and place orders asneeded to maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensureproper storage and handling of purchased products.
    • Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stayinformed about industry trends and developments.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing a team isessential for this role.
    • Ability to coordinatewith different teams within the organization to ensure smoothprocurement processes.
    • Basic understanding ofwarehouse operations and management.

    JobRequirements

    • Bachelorsdegree in Electrical Mechanical Civil or Electronics andTelecommunication Engineering.
    • Proven workexperience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar procurementrole.
    • Good knowledge of vendor sourcingpractices including researching evaluating and liaising withvendors.
    • Understanding of supply chainprocedures to optimize procurement processes.
    • Solid analytical skills and strong negotiationabilities to secure favorable terms.
    • Experience in a solar or nonsolar machinerycompany ispreferred.
