    Description

    ULCCS Ltd. is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Engineer (Electrical Estimation & Costing) to join our esteemed team. If you're a recent graduate or an early-career professional with a passion for estimation and costing in electrical engineering, this role offers the perfect platform to kickstart your career.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Estimation Support: Assist in the estimation process for a variety of HT (High Tension) and LT (Low Tension) projects across different scales. Collaborate with senior engineers to develop accurate estimates that align with project requirements and budget constraints.
    • Software Proficiency: Utilize your proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office to support the estimation process effectively. Your expertise in these tools will facilitate precise calculations and documentation.
    • Compliance and Safety Awareness: Develop a solid understanding of relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IS, IEC) to ensure compliance and safety in project designs. Your knowledge will contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
    • Analytical Skills: Apply your analytical skills to interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately. Your understanding of electrical systems and components will assist in developing comprehensive estimates.
    • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in estimation and costing. Your proactive approach to learning will enable you to provide innovative solutions and enhance your professional growth.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree (B.Tech or B.E.) in Electrical Engineering.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimation of HT and LT projects across various scales (including internship or co-op experience).
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
    • Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IS, IEC).
    • Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
    • Understanding of electrical systems and components.
    • Knowledge of cost estimation software/tools is desirable.
