Business Unit Overview

  • Working as a fulltime MS SQL Database Administrator where you will be responsible for data management across the enterprise.
    Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing databases within the Microsoft SQL database technology stack
  • Troubleshooting data replication and integrity across the enterprise
  • Performing and tuning along with SQL & T-SQL development
  • Adhering to security best practices, access control, and security policies
  • Demonstrates daytoday adherence with change control concepts and practices
  • Providing 24x7 support on critical systems in an oncall rotation

Required Position Qualifications
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

  • Degree in an Information Technology discipline or closely related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of progressive experience managing an MSSQL Database environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in powershell scripting and performance tuning.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
  • Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
  • Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
  • Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Position Qualifications

  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems & powershell scripting fundamentals
  • Certification within Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience managing database technologies in an onpremise, as well as public and private cloud deployments (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Experience managing a variety of database technology stacks (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
