Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field.
Previous experience as an editor or writer for children's publications is preferred.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an eye for detail are essential.
Creativity and a passion for creating engaging content for children.
Knowledge of child development and ageappropriate content is preferred.
Familiarity with children's literature, media, and entertainment is preferred but not necessary.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.

- _Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop stories, activities, and content ideas according to the magazine style and editorial policy.
Should be able to conduct research on topics of interest to children and stay uptodate on trends and developments in children's literature, education, and entertainment.
Should be able to generate activities based on the given concept.
Should be able to coordinate with graphic designers and illustrators to get the content designed.
Should have good creativity and excellent problemsolving skills.
Should be able to verify facts cited in material for publication.
Rewrite the text to make it easier for readers to understand.
Should have good visual intelligence.
Should have high attention to detail and be able to prioritise and multitask.
