Overview
The quality of school education available to students from low-income communities across India is abysmal.

Their chances of getting admitted to a college or building a career are much lower than their high-income peers, condemning them to a life without voice or choice.

iTeach was born to declare war on this status quo and create a level playing field for ALL children. We do this in Pune and Navi Mumbai by co-creating contextual school models with Municipal Corporations.

We run 10 free and high-impact secondary schools and a college-to-career program for the most disadvantaged students.

In 2024, with a staff of 250 members across 10 schools, we will serve 3000 students and 2000 alumni - giving students a fighting chance at college, career, and citizenship.

We aim to grow to 30 schools and 10,000 students over the next five years.

Responsibilities:
The teacher's responsibilities are divided into three broad buckets:

Teach theory, conduct practicals, and take regular tests on all the four modules of MSFC
Build a positive and strong school culture, with a focus on learning and joy
Build awareness of Skill Development in parents of students through regular meetings
Visit and learn from external organizations and bring the learning to your school

ll - Mentoring students (20% time)

Mentor all students to identify a trade of their choice to specialize in further
Help in identifying careers for students to pursue vocational skills after Grade X

lll - Leading projects in school (20% time)

Lead one or two projects to improve student exposure, such as bringing industry experts to your school, partnering with industries for internships, etc.

Education & Experience:

Required: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Technical Trades, Mechanical, Electronics, Electricals.
Preferred: Teaching/Industry experience in any of the four modules for 1+ years
