    Description

    Responsibilities

  • Act on Incidents reported by our network management tools
  • Act on Incidents reported by the customer ( via our service desk )
  • Practively test & upgrade software on various devices
  • Analyse capacity management reports & propose improvements
  • Prepare and execute Change requests
  • Remotely Configure new devices
  • Interact with multiple teams (Helpdesk , Customer , Service delivery Mgr. )
  • Make technical advisory / designs for customer network migrations.
  • Make technical advisory to improve customer security environment.
  • Communicate & raise incidents to 3the party (vendors / telecom providers )
  • Create and update documentation sets.
  • Propose improvement plans (technical & human activity)
  • Proactively seek guidance from peers and seniors where required.
  • Team presentations on your activities
  • Propose improvements for our our network management tools / Configuration.
  • Analyse reporting before used by Service Delivery Manager
  • Understand vendor product / solution evolutions.
    This role involves client interaction. The scope of products / vendors covers –
  • Cisco (Routing & SDWAN, ACI / Catalyst & Nexus Switching / Aironet Wireless /
    ASA/Firepower Firewall, PRIME, ISE)
  • Meraki (Wireless / Firewall / SDWAN)
  • F5 (LTM, ASM, APM, GTM )
  • Fortinet (Firewall, Forti Manager)
  • Palo Alto (Firewall, Panaroma)

    Specialized Skills
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience ( see list of vendors )
  • Hands on experience to work in an ITIL structured organisation dealing with
    Incident / Change / Problem management
  • Hands on experience in handling any of major IT infrastructure vendor
    products such as Cisco , Meraki , F5 , Fortinet , Palo Alto.
  • Expert with implementing and supporting routing protocols.
  • Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analyzers.
  • Configuring network & security devices with end to end security in mind.
  • Configuring end to end Quality of Service
  • Troubleshout using traffic analysers , netflow colectors , capacity management
    tools.
  • Understand to interprete wireless ( WIFI ) site survey reports
  • Execute / tune wireless ( WIFI ) radio management.
  • Incident Report Document writing.
  • Documentation ( MS Word ) & drawing ( MS Visio ) updates
  • Participating in Team & Customer meetings.
    •
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English language.
  • Understanding of NetApp storage array & Brocade FC switch architecture.
  • Good understanding of Networks
  • Previous experience of working with project team & deliver as per design
  • Good understanding & working knowledge on HP-UX, LINUX, Windows 2008+, VMware ESXi.
  • Good understanding of Cloud & Virtualized environments
  • Good Understanding of ITIL processes
  • Basic understanding of Zerto
  • Knowledge of Backups systems will be a bonus.
  • Skills
    ➢ Excellent knowledge & Experience with the combinations of minimum twotechnologies mentioned below are Preferred Cisco(R&S,DC),SDWAN,ACI,Wireless,Security(Firewalls),Load Balancers(F5)
  • Preferred Certifications below ( Any two certfications added advantage)
    ➢ Cisco CCNP R&S / Sec / Wireless
    ➢ Cisco CCIE Routing & Switching
    ➢ Cisco CCIE Security/Wireless
    ➢ Fortinet NSE 3 or Higher
    ➢ Palo Alto(PCNSA/PCNSE)
    ➢ F5 Certified Administrator/Technical Specialist/Solution Expert
    ➢ Meraki Certified Meraki Network Operator
